What started it all...

In March 2005, ThermoChill’s Technical Manager (Marci) struck up a working relationship with well-known Aussie Block Producer Little-River (aka Cathar) in what was thought to be a one time venture, the outcome of which was the PA160.1 radiator… a radical step in a different direction, designing a radiator optimised for maximum performance from a single silent fan. Now many out there have asked “Why isn’t there a PA160.2?”. The answer was always the same, it wasn’t necessary and no case on the market would accommodate it, making it an unviable solution for mass retail. The success of the PA160.1's design approach, and the demand for increased single-radiator performance led to the logical conclusion that the HE series of radiators could perhaps benefit from being updated using the same design principles as found in the PA160.1, to produce a new series of compact and higher-performance radiators.
